This week, we're writing Mini Reviews!

Halloween is coming up, and we're starting to get into the spirit! depthRADIUS has been posting some Mini Horror Movie reviews, and we've been loving them! So, we've decided to join them by writing our own Mini Reviews!
  • Check out depthRADIUS's mini movie reviews here.
  • Choose your favourite Halloween movie, book, or TV special and write a short review of it (125 word maximum)! Include some details, but don't give away the ending. You do not have to choose a horror movie, it can be anything that relates to Halloween!
  • Post your Mini Review in the comments on this journal!
  • Five Premium Members who take part will be selected to win 400 Points each! Entries will be judged on ability to provide a solid understanding of the movie and creativity in description.
  • Comments must be left by 11:59 pm, Los Angeles time, on Tuesday, October 15th to be eligible to win.
We can't wait to read all your Halloween reviews! Happy reviewing! :halloween: revamp

IT by Stephen King (Novel, 1998)

When I was a child, I loved clowns; this book made a coulrophobe of me. IT is your classic Stephen King story about a group of tight-knit friends finding and fighting something horrible, but it’s unsettling in a way few works of his manage. It’s hard to tell what’s worse: the horrific visions the kids find in the 1950s as they search for answers about what happened to Bill’s little brother, or the adult character the scares take on when they return in the 1980s. What looks like a romp through horror tropes turns decidedly deeper; through this book, Stephen King shaped my views on what fear and reality really are.
