This week, we're writing Autumn Couplets!

We're in the heart of fall right right now. There are leaves changing color and falling, cold and rainy days, and a promise of holidays to come. Let's show this beautiful season some respect with a couplet! As a reminder, a couplet is a two-line poem that usually (but not always) rhymes!
  • Write a couplet celebrating autumn and include it in the comments below.
  • Five Premium Members who take part will win 400 Points each! Entries will be judged on creativity and syntax.
  • All entries must be in Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 11:59 PM Los Angeles time.
To start you on your couplet journey, I'll include a fall one of my own!
Leaves falling from the sky,
I love them, and also apple pie.
Have fun writing, deviants! Maple Leaf

I'm too late, but having just seen this now, I can't bear not to throw my own two cents in:

Like autumn sugar, leaves spun wild
Sifted from trees and left in piles.
