It's been a while...
Jun 12, 2020
Hey friends, it's been a while since I was last active here! I wanted to share a few updates on my life because a lot has happened in the three years since I left DeviantArt. As you likely know if you are reading this, I worked in the marketing department of DeviantArt from 2013-2017, and had a really amazing time doing so! The reason I left, which I'm not sure if I ever shared here publicly, was to go get my MBA at UCLA Anderson and pursue a career in the video game industry. All of the amazing fan art on DeviantArt made me want to work for one of the killer companies inspiring their players to make fan art, and have the chance to inspire a fandom through my work. Well, I'm happy to say that not only did I graduate last year, I actually have been working at Riot Games for the past two years on League of Legends: Wild Rift! I had to keep it pretty secret for a long time before it was announced, but we just entered alpha testing so it's in peoples' hands and I can celebrate publicly!

Holiday Card Project 2016 Wrap-Up!
Feb 1, 2017
The Holiday Card Project celebrated its 10th year of bringing smiles and joy to those in need this last December of 2016. The project was a complete success, with over 4,000 cards from 1,500 deviants and artists all over the world. Our mailbox opened for submissions in November, and almost immediately, we were flooded with messages from across the world—ranging from delicately hand-made cards to inspired digital designs. A selection of some of the cards sent to us! A team of DeviantArt staff, including damphyr (https://www.deviantart.com/damphyr), danlev (https://www.deviantart.com/danlev), makepictures (https://www.deviantart.com/makepictures), chris (https://www.deviantart.com/chris), likasmyles (https://www.deviantart.com/likasmyles), Lunat1k15 (https://www.deviantart.com/lunat1k15), and more helped me open every card and sort it according to the me
Holiday Card Project 2016!
Nov 19, 2016
The DeviantArt #HolidayCardProject is back for its 10th year! With the goal of bringing a bit of holiday cheer to patients in the hospital during the holiday season, the Holiday Card Project connects artists from around the world, applying their tremendous artistic abilities to designing and creating uplifting holiday cards. In the past few years, this project has received more than 5,000 cards sent in by more than 2,000 deviants from 60 different countries/political regions. Cards are then divvied up and distributed by DeviantArt members to local Los Angeles hospitals, with additional cards given to various hospitals in the U.S. and abroad
